As Muharram’s Night begins
As night begins to fall my eyes fill with tears,
Yet my heart smiles as this love of pain nears,
As Dhu-l-Hijja goes & Muharram appears
Hussain your month breaks my heart and my ailments it surely clears,
Refreshing my soul waiting zestfully for when the awaited one reappears
